Reviewing Cards
Review sessions are where learning happens. streamboard presents cards that are due based on the Leitner box system, prioritizing cards you need to practice most.
Review on the web
Section titled “Review on the web”- Go to the review page
- Select a deck with due cards
- For each card: read the front, think of your answer, reveal the back, then mark correct or incorrect
Cards you get right advance to the next box (reviewed less often). Cards you get wrong drop back to Box 1.
Review in Claude Code
Section titled “Review in Claude Code”If you use Claude Code with the streamboard plugin, you can review interactively in your terminal:
/streamboard:reviewClaude shows each card’s front, waits for your answer, reveals the back, and provides memory aids for cards you miss. You can also target a specific deck:
/streamboard:review javascript-closuresCheck your progress
Section titled “Check your progress”On the streamboard, you can see how many cards are due across all your decks. In Claude Code:
/streamboard:study-summaryThis shows a breakdown of total decks, cards, due counts, and suggests what to review next.
- Keep sessions short — 5–10 minutes daily is more effective than hour-long weekly sessions
- Don’t rush — take time to think before revealing the answer
- Be honest with yourself — if you hesitated or weren’t sure, mark it wrong. The system works best with accurate self-assessment
